DEMONETIZATION & FINANCIAL STABILITY - THE RICHY RICH GUIDE

People often spend most of their lives working hard chasing financial stability.
We Indians are now going through such an economic phase,
which made attaining financial stability and staying financially stable for an individual really difficult, due to banning of INR500 and INR1000 existing currency notes and replacing them with new INR500 and INR2000 currency notes.

Whenever there is a change in currency or modification in currency notes, 'DEMONETIZATION' takes place, which is the act of stripping a currency unit of its status, as a legal tender.

An interesting side effect of demonetization plan is that,

it’s bringing interest rates down.
Since money is being infused into Indian banking system via demonetization,
banks will have a surplus monetary supply,
thereby reducing interest rates.
For example - State Bank of India reduced rates on deposits from one year to 455 days to 6.90%, down 15 basis points, lending rates are likely to follow suit in a few weeks, possibly giving credit expansion a much-needed boost.
Lower interest rates should, all else being equal, produce a stimulus to the economy and reduce inflation.

It will decrease money in circulation, thus decreasing liquidity
and as liquidity decreases inflation will come down.
Decreased money circulation means decreased demand
which will lead to decrease in prices of goods and services.
Thus, decreasing inflation.

Some amount of black money will reach banks, so that banks could give more loans,
more loans means more consumption.
More consumption will lead to increased demand
which will ultimately lead to more productivity. Increased productivity of a nation will increase it's Gross Domestic Production.

India has been suffering from high inflation problem since a decade.
As per World Bank 2010 report,
black money constitutes 20% of Indian GDP. So assuming, 20% of the INR 18 lakh crore worth of INR 500 and INR 1,000 notes, been scrapped,
is unaccounted or black money and unlikely to be changed,
roughly INR 3 lakh crore would not be exchanged for new notes ever.

This entire amount will be booked as profit to the Reserve Bank of India,
and transferred to the central government as special dividend in their budget book.
With INR 3 lakhs disappeared from INR 18 lakh of Indian currency,
money supply will reduce,
which will thereby reduce inflation.

Huge amounts of cash deposited in the banks will enhance the liquidity in banks multi-folds,
thereby reducing the need for the banks to raise liquidity through foreign currency loans/ bonds etc.
This, in the long run,
is expected to help reduce the interest rates of loans to customers
since the cost of loans for the banks will decrease.

Better accounting of money in the future since people will refrain from accumulating huge piles of cash foreseeing more such moves in the future. Every transaction will have an audit trail.

Well this move played by our Prime Minister Mr. N.Modi,
has also been aimed majorly at eliminating counterfeit currency from the system,
which is mostly believed to be produced by and is used to fund terror organizations.

Though it has been very inconvenient for people who operate on cash basis, in the longer run, it is for the benefit of the country
and that’s why is being praised globally.

It is reasonably clear that the economy stands to benefit on several terms.
So those who are worried about their financial stability, they must consider the following portion of this particular post,
very important.

Global agencies have pegged the size of the parallel economy in India at close to 23% as of 2007. Basis this, we estimate unaccounted cash in the economy to the tune of INR4500 billion, of which a certain significant proportion will make its way to the banks, thus boosting deposit base as well as financial savings:
  • The banks' deposit base is expected to receive a fillip of 0.5-1.4% of GDP.
  • In turn, financing savings can be expected to rise by close to this proportion due to switch from savings from unproductive physical assets to financial assets
  • A rise in deposit base will allow banks to lower the blended cost of funds as higher CASA (current accounts, savings accounts) deposits help to replace the high cost of borrowing and lower overall cost of funds. We expect banks to reduce deposit rates by ~125 bps over the next six months.
  • The new regime of MCLR (Marginal Cost of Funds based Lending Rate )will immediately take into account the lower cost and will thereby lead to a decline in lending rates, which will boost economic activity in the medium term.
  • With improved monetary transmission, economic efficiency and structural moderation in currency in circulation, there is likely to be a greater room for the RBI to ease monetary policy rate further. I am hopeful that the RBI will ease by another 100 bps in 2017-18 to a repo rate of 4% by March 2018.
  • The piecemeal liquidity support from OMO (Open Market Options) purchases will now to a larger extent be addressed by the structural change in currency demand
Over the last two years, while the number of Jan Dhan accounts has recorded a stellar growth, the share of these accounts in total deposit base of the banking system has remained under 1%. The demonetization drive of higher denominated notes should give a push to cash deposits in Jan Dhan accounts, of which close to 43% so far have remained dormant. In addition, the move will help to inculcate banking habits among the large unbanked population in the country.

  • The latest move will move the economy from the unorganized to organized sector, dovetailing into the GST architecture that is expected to come on board next year. This is likely to enhance the government's ability to tax commercial transactions resulting in a structural improvement in tax to GDP ratio in the economy.
  • Improvement in bank deposit base leads to higher SLR (statutory liquidity ratio) demand.
  • On the supply side, with tax buoyancy seeing an improvement, supply of g-secs (govt. security) is likely to get more rationalized due to gradual reduction in fiscal deficit over time as the impact of FRBMA (Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Act) is underway.
  • Anticipation of monetary easing to further support bonds.
While there are short-term implications for growth in cash-intensive sectors such as real estate, construction, and discretionary household consumption in general, but fear not my firend,long-term benefits for GDP growth will outweigh the short term transitional impact.
We are now surely heading towards a 9% GDP growth by Financial Year 2018-19.
In a single master stroke, the government has attempted to tackle all three malaises currently plaguing the economy—a parallel economy, counterfeit currency in circulation and terror financing.
In addition, the Indian economy has been provided a new lease of life—a "reset" if you will—with huge positive implications for liquidity, inflation, fiscal and external deficit in the short term.
Over the next two-three years, improvement in India's position on transparency and corruption in the global stage will further add to its investor appeal.
With Goods & Sales Tax on the state of preparation, India is now on the way to a higher growth in the medium term—to be steered by the organized sectors including MSMEs (Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises) and the revival of the private sector capex (Capital expenditure) cycle.

YOU AND MONEY - THE RICHY RICH GUIDE

"I take it that it is best for all

to leave each man free
to acquire wealth as fast as he can.
Some will get really Wealthy.
I don't believe in a law
to prevent a man from getting rich.
It would do more harm than Good."
- Abraham Lincoln

It is your right to be wealthy. You are here to lead the abundant life, to be happy, radiant and free. You should , therefore, have all the riches you need to lead a full, happy , prosperous and an opulent life.

There is absolutely no virtue in poverty; the latter is a mental disease. It should be abolished from the face of the Earth.

You are here to grow, expand, connect and unfold - spiritually, mentally and materially. You have the inalienable right to fully develop and express yourself along all lines.

You must surround yourself with beauty and luxury.

Money is a symbol of God's opulence, beauty, refinement and abundance. It should be used wisely, judiciously and constructively to bless humanity in countless ways. it is  merely a symbol of the economic health of the nation.

When your blood is circulating freely, you are healthy. When money is circulating freely in your life, you are economically healthy and financially free.
But when people begin to hoard money, to put it away in tin boxes or become charged with fear, there is economic illness.

Why be satisfied with just enough to go around! When you can enjoy the riches to the infinite?

Your  desire to become wealthy is actually a desire for a fuller, happier, more wonderful life. It is a cosmic urge, and it is good, in-fact very good.

Begin to see money in its true significance; as a symbol of exchange. It means to you freedom from want;
it means beauty, luxury, abundance as also refinement.

One of the reasons most of the people do not have more money is that they are silently or openly condemning it.
They refer money as 'filthy lucre', or they believe that
'love of money is the root of all evil' etc.

Another reason they do not prosper is that they have a sneaky, subconscious feeling there is some virtue in poverty;
this subconscious pattern maybe due to early child training, superstition or could be based on a false interpretation of the religious scriptures.

There is no virtue in poverty and living poor being a miser. It is a mental disease like any other disease.

If you were physically ill, you would think there is something wrong with you; you would seek help, or do something about the condition at once.
Likewise, if you do not have money constantly circulating and flowing in your life, there is something radically wrong with you.

Money is only a symbol; it has taken many forms as a medium of exchange down through the centuries, such as salt, beads or various trinkets.
In early times, man's wealth was determined by the number of sheep he had.
Well, it is much more convenient to write a check or swipe a card than to carry some sheep around with you to pay your bills and expenses.
*standing in the que for hours in-front of the bank is a different issue now a days for Indians. we all have faced that ;) but at-least better than carrying a heard of sheep*

God does not want you to live in a hovel or to go hungry.
God wants you to be happy, prosperous and successfull.
God is always successful in all his undertakings, weather he makes a star or a cosmos.

You may wish to take a trip around the world, buy Mansions, Yachts, iPhones, Rolexes, Armani Suits, Louboutins, Louis Vuittons, Rolls Royces, Lamborghinis, Ducatis and my personal favorite list goes on,
or study art in foreign countries, go to international colleges and universities or send your children to superior schools of the world.
You certainly wish to bring up yourself or your children in lovely surroundings, so that you or your children learn
to appreciate success, beauty, order, symmetry and proportion

You were born to succeed, to win to conquer all difficulties, and to have all your proficiencies, fully developed. If there is a financially lack in your life, do something about it.
And do it now.

"the best time to commence doing something
is between yesterday and tomorrow"

And the most important thing,
Get away immediately from all superstitious belies about money.
DO NOT EVER REGARD MONEY AS EVIL OR FILTHY.

If you do, you cause it to take wings to fly away from your pocket and from your bank account or tin box or whatever you store your money.

Remember that
you lose, what you condemn.

WHEN YOU GET THE 'SHOW-OFF' TAG - THE RICHY RICH GUIDE

''Nobody likes a show-off''

Have you ever heard that before?
Usually it is said to children who are craving to get attention
but it's drummed into us from a young age
to be like the crowd and everyone else
and not to think we are special.

Well, as an adult, you may have noticed that when good or rather I'd say GREAT things happen to you,
not every one is so.........
umm
'THRILLED' about it.

In fact, some people go out of their way to actively make you feel bad,
about sharing your good fortune.

These people are bothered so much about you that
even if you post a common thing which maybe beyond their reach and of course their 'STANDARD'
they will put all their efforts to make you feel bad
mostly by abusing you and your wealth.

They don't understand that what you post in Facebook or in any social media platform
is none of his/her concern.
But still they will poke their nose to abuse you.

Well, wise men/women deal with it
by remaining calm and polite with their words.
Because definitely
''STANDARD MATTERS''.

I recently got a comment on one of my uploads in Facebook
from someone stating that
I'm a show off for talking about my new iPhones, chronographs etc etc.
It seemed that she will be more comfortable hearing about when things will go wrong in my life,
instead of the things I'm happy and proud about now.

She did not even leave abusing my blog and my efforts that I put,
that she can never even think of,
when I told her that I made myself enough eligible to afford multiple iPhones and exotic chronographs as I had put my effort and hard work to reach up to this level.

Well it was not the first time I have faced this.
And thanks to all my nearest and dearest friends who actually helped me dealing with this wonderful lady who was certainly not happy with the good things happening in my life.

But what's the worth of all these?
She made fun of herself only.
And me?

Well, I'm not gonna stop sharing my good news with others
and neither should you.

You see my friend,
I have been gradually improvising my life and my aspects of looking at life from the most appropriate perspectives.

I am not competitive about it
but
I, certainly love to share my success just as much as my failures.

If you have been following my blog,
chances are that some of the things in your life and mental state
might be changing and improving too.

Some people have actually mailed me about how they have become mentally strong and has overcome from a bad incident happened in their life at an early stage.(so, keep mailing)

Those people also share their improvement and new achievements
in multiple social media platforms.
But not everyone in their friend-list is happy for their fortune.

Occasionally, some people actually never think for a moment before abusing them as they are reaching new heights of success and make them feel bad.
In fact, this is what happens when a good person is surrounded by
people with low level of education and intellect.

but these are just ''jealous people''.

It is true, it is mostly jealousy.
It is a normal human reaction to want
what someone else has.

You may have triggered an insecurity in them
or they have an underlying belief that they don't deserve good things in their life,
so they are transferring those uncomfortable feelings over to you.

So here is the problem.

Someone is always going to think you're a show-off
no matter the level of success and intellect you achieve.

So, don't hold back on being successful.
So what if going for your goals and dreams put you in the spotlight?

Just remember this famous quote:

'' What other people think of you,
is none of your business.''

So the best thing you can do is surround yourself with positive people,
love your nearest and dearest ones who are genuinely happy for you,
and be proud of your success
be proud of each and every moment you are happy.

This is all
what I have learned from my past and specially
yesterday's experience.

So if people call you show off
my experiences which i have expressed in a written format in today's wisdom post
will definitely help you.

RESULTS? TO WORRY OR TO BE HAPPY??? - THE RICHY RICH GUIDE

Well so I am back.
Finally the results are out and I have passed about which I was a bit worried and kind of stopped writing.
So today what I am going to talk about is
'EXAM RESULTS'.
Sometimes it can be very difficult to predict the outcome of your exams, whether you be in secondary school or even in university.
This is probably because, exams are arguably one of the most feared things in education for students.
Whether a student is confident in their abilities in their chosen subjects or not,  exams can often both predictably and unpredictably bring out the best, and more than often, the worst, in a student.
If the worst does happen, failing your exams can be one of the most devastating experiences for a student, especially when they were not expecting to fail their exams.
Well if you feel the same, then fear not my friend.
This article is going to help you a lot.
One way to cope with exam failure, is to talk to people.
Talk to your family, talk to your friends, discuss the options you can take now that you’ve had your exam results back.
One thing you must remember, is that failing your exams is not
THE END OF THE WORLD.
Exam failure is one of the many hurdles you’ll have to surpass in your life, and there are always possibilities to learn and rise above failure.
After all, I’m sure most of you have heard the saying
 ‘failure makes you stronger’.
Funnily enough, it really does.
It gives you an understanding of what it means to fail, to lose, to receive a negative outcome that you may not have expected to get.
A common worry among the students who have failed some of their exams,
is that
they’ll now never be able to get the job they wanted after graduating,
or even the university degree they were first opting for.

WRONG

You should never let exam failure force you into believing that you now can’t achieve any of your dreams.
Sure, some things will be harder to reach, but that doesn’t make them unreachable.
Failing exams doesn’t make you any less of a person, any less intelligent, or any less able to achieve what you want to, than those who may have gotten better results in their exams than you.
Well so does it sound good?
No???
There is another saying which will definitely boost you up.
'ONE CAN NEVER FAIL'
'EITHER YOU WIN OR YOU GAIN EXPERIENCE'
'IT ALL LIES IN THE PERSPECTIVE
HOW YOU ACCEPT THE SITUATION'
Today I attended a seminar in my college where I met two very inspirational personalities.
And this is exactly what they said to me when I had asked them about how to face and handle failures in life.
See marks doesn't matter.
Being a good human being is the thing which actually matters.
And if you can build a positive aspect of looking at things what you face in your life and can accept the hardships that you are facing,
remember it is just the preparation process of making yourself better than you were yesterday.
I see my juniors and my friends  pondering over the amount of marks differences among their friends.
I wonder they have scored already a good amount of marks but they still crave for more.
YES IT IS A RAT RACE KINDA THING.
But what is the worth of making a difference of marks?
Yes some will say its important for admissions and jobs.
Well
Marks can never decide one's intellect.
I feel if you start craving for 'knowledge'
and stop worrying about marks
MARK MY WORDS
NO ONE CAN STOP YOU FROM REACHING THE APEX OF EXCELLENCE.
And when you improvise your self gradually and start chasing excellence
you my friend,
are
bound to be successful.
The most important thing to remember in such a scenario when you are about to face a failure or struggling to win
is to remain true to yourself;
remember who you are,
what your strengths are,
what you are capable of doing,
and what you want to do,
and you will get there.

BITCHES GET STUFF DONE- THE RICHY RICH GUIDE

So yesterday I got an interesting mail from one of my female reader and which influenced me to write this kind of article for the first time ever.
Here is what she wanted to know.

I have some doubts in my mind and I will be extremely grateful if you solve it for me.

Is being a girl a disadvantage for me? I know it is, specially in the business my father deals with. i want to be actively involved in business. i know the hospital thing is happening but  I am really keen in working in the raw material industry. Do you think that my gender will be a big issue for me? I know it is a small issue, specially when females generally do not enter this field. Do you think it will be wise for me to try it out or should I play safe and go for the medical business?

the problem is that I cannot wait for a long time to think about it because this is a really fast moving industry and if I take my time I may lag behind and that will be a huge blow for the business. My safety and my well-being is my parents chief concern. Will I be making a mistake by entering this industry alone, because I know my father won't be there to protect me all the time. Please do let me know your views regarding this matter.

       Thanking you

Regards

Ms. K Sarkar

Well Ms. K Sarkar and all the women who are reading this post,
It's hard to become a successful female business leader if you don't have a core set of principles to guide you.
The most successful women set standards for themselves, for their employees, for their products and for their brands. Unfortunately, bold and decisive female entrepreneurs are often greeted with more disdain than respect.
Stick to your guns and you don't get congratulated for being professional, you get criticized for being a bitch.

“Just because I have my standards, they think I'm a bitch.”
– Diana Ross
So what do you do if that's the penalty for sticking up for what you believe in? You do it anyway. To see why, it's time to consult with the self-proclaimed “baddest bitch” of them all. Nicki Minaj.
In a backstage interview for her upcoming documentary “My Time Now,” Minaj explained why she doesn't hold back when her standards aren't met.
I put quality in what I do. I spend time and I spend energy and I spend effort and I spend everything I have, every fiber of my being, to give people quality. So if I turn up to a photo shoot and you got a $50 clothes budget and some sliced pickles on a mother—-in' board, you know what? No. I am gonna leave. Is that wrong? For wanting more for myself, wanting people to treat me with respect? But you know what? Next time, they know better. But had I accepted the pickle juice, I would be drinking pickle juice right now."
Although we can't all be platinum chart-toppers, what Minaj says is true for all entrepreneurs.
When you put your heart and soul into what you do and the people around you don't live up to your standards, then calling them out on it does not make you a bitch.
It makes you serious. It's what you do when you want people to know that if they waste your time, you won't just smile and take it.

When it comes to inspiring women in business fields, my post may seem to be both long and strange. It's no wonder. Throughout their lives, women are taught to behave in ways that are completely contrary to their goals.
Women expected to water down their statements when they mean to assert themselves, to accept the respect they get instead of demanding the respect they deserve, and to do everything they can to avoid being called a bitch.
After all, the term “bitch” is really just a rhetorical tool for turning confidence, dignity and power into things that are unseemly.
It's a personal attack that's used to make any woman who seeks or displays these characteristics into something ugly, fearful, even bestial.
In short, it's used to keep the women in their place and out of the  'boys' club.
After all, the term “bitch” is really just a rhetorical tool for turning confidence, dignity and power into things that are unseemly.
It's a personal attack that's used to make any woman who seeks or displays these characteristics into something ugly, fearful, even bestial.
In short, it's used to keep us in our place and out of the old boys' club.
But if you can successfully flip the script and stop letting the bitch label hold you back.
Maybe it's time you should stop caring about the negative perspective of accepting the term ‘bitch’ and start getting influenced by keeping that in mind that, bitches get, what they they really deserve.
So if my post has inspired you enough, consider this as a GOLDEN RULE,
If you also think that you stand out of the box, you stand out of the crowd.

Don't be nice. Be a bitch. Start standing up for yourselves, and who knows? You might just change where you stand.
